When you use our "Gold Install" service, the worries and stress about installing an appliance are over. Our fully trained and experienced installation team are able to install your new appliance upon delivery so that you have peace of mind your new appliance is installed professionally in line with the manufacturer’s installation standards ready for it’s first use!

We install all types of appliances from electric to gas to built-in to freestanding. There are varying charges associated with each type of install which are visible on the individual product page.

Our freestanding wet appliance installation service covers the installation of your new freestanding washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher. This service is only available when replacing like for like appliances.

What’s included in our Freestanding Wet Appliance Installation?

  • Disconnection and removal of the old appliance for recycling (if our recycling service has been selected)
  • Unpack your new appliance, remove and recycle the packaging
  • Connect the new appliance to existing pipework or electric supply (13 amp plug-in only)
  • If an extra-long hose, plug, or lead is required this will be included within the installation charge
  • Level and fit the appliance into your existing space
  • Run the appliance through a test to ensure everything is working properly

Before we attend to install, you should:

  • Check your chosen appliance will fit into the existing space
  • Make sure there is easy access to the existing pipework and electric supply
  • Ensure the stop valves for the water supply are working correctly
  • Make sure there is easy access to your kitchen and appliance.

What isn’t covered by our installation charge:

  • Alterations to the existing plumbing or electrical connections (including the replacement of stop valves and taps if they snap)
  • Connect the appliance if for any reason puts our installer or yourself at risk
  • Connect the appliance if it does not meet the manufacturer or safety guidelines
  • Plumb two waste pipes into one waste connection

Hob top (cooking) Appliance Installation

Our cooker hob appliance installation service is specific to the fuel type of the hob you have chosen. Our charge for the installation service has been divided into electric and gas (including dual fuel) which are visible on each product page. This service is only available for replacing like for like appliances. During our installation service our team will disconnect and remove for recycling the current appliance and install the new appliance.


Before we attend to install, you should:

  • Check your chosen appliance will fit into the existing work top cut out
  • Make sure there is easy access to the existing pipework and electric supply
  • Check to see if your current gas pipework is up to the current safety standards (if your hob is gas)
  • Make sure there is easy access to your kitchen and appliance

What isn’t covered by our installation charge:

  • Alterations to the existing gas pipework or electrical connections
  • Connect the appliance if it for any reason puts our installer or yourself at risk
  • Connect the appliance if it does not meet the manufacturer or safety guidelines
  • Amendments to gas pipework to bring this in line with current safety standards
  • Amendments to the worktop cut out for the hob to fit into

Cooker Hood Appliance Installation

Our Cooker Hood Installation service includes the disconnection and disposal of your current extractor and the fitting of your new extractor. Due to the vast range of cooker hoods available these are quoted individually. The cost of installation does not include any decorative work or extension pieces if required. Any recirculating kits, filters or ducting are not included unless otherwise stated. We are only able to offer the installation of a cooker hood in the London & Hertfordshire area. Please contact us for a quotation.

Disposal only of Appliance (installation not required)

Our disposal service for your old appliance requires the current appliance to be disconnected and ready to be collected at the same time as delivery of your new appliance. This service is only available for like for like appliances.


If an installation fails because we were not informed of any reason why it may not be successful or because the customer did not observe the information above, we reserve the right to charge a failed installation charge.

Please advise the team if there are stairs at the property or clear access is not available.

In some cases, we are able to provide a 4-person delivery team for awkward deliveries.

Additional charges may apply.

If the delivery and/or installation are deemed to be unsafe, we reserve the right to not carry out the delivery or installation. The installation charge may not be refunded if this is the case.
